Seeing the darkness all around in the palace, Hothi Jam started asking the maid the reason for it. The Odho walked further from here. He saw a Holo flying towards him from the direction of Kutch. Seeing the Holo, he said:

Meaning: Hey Hola! When will you go to Kutch again? When you go there, check out the residence of my beloved ones and tell them my many blessings.
Knowing that Jam Odho was leaving Kutch, people from all over started coming to beg him. Odho started satisfying everyone by giving them whatever they wanted. He donated almost all his livestock to the Bhat-Charans. When he had only one buffalo left, a charan from Vadsar village of Kutch arrived and started begging him for a buffalo. Odho told him, 'Charandev! Now I have only one buffalo left. So ask for whatever else you want.' Odho's words did not please the charan, so he said:
My heart is big, I am very happy, I am very happy, I am very happy, I am very happy.
Meaning: Buffaloes are a big thing. It is a great pity to give them away as a gift. Even among them, the Kahar Rajputs, called Rekhadiyara Jam, consider them as their own offspring.
Odho was a great giver. Instead of getting angry at the words of the bard, he was rather pleased with them. He even gave his own buffalo to the bard as a gift. The bard was pleased and repeated the same words:

Since Odha was thinking of going to Sindh, he boarded the ship with all his belongings. As soon as the ship's sails were released, he said:

Meaning: The beloved is on the water. And now no one can find our feet. With the sails, anchors, and masts ready, the ship's feet have become detached, and we have fallen into disarray.
Odho first went towards Simpa-Bambhanasar. But this place did not seem suitable to him, so from there he reached his father-in-law, Veeshaldev Vaghela, at the village of Gedi in Vagad. At this time, the men of Veeshaldev Vaghela's uncle, Dhalura Padshah, had gone mad, so this old king was worried day and night. When Odho came to know about this, he immediately set out towards Sinsh with his men to take revenge from Palura Padshah.

In ancient times, there were many Rajputs of the Nigmara caste in Kutch. The chief of that caste, Sangan Nigmara, was a mighty warrior. He was the owner of a large herd of cattle. Since he had no children, he was worried day and night. One day, he found a young girl from the forest. This made Sangan Nigmara very happy. He started raising her as his own daughter. That morning, he replied, "My name is Hothi and I am going to the palace of Dhalura Padshah." Hearing this, Odha Jam was surprised. He informed him of his whole truth and asked him to come with him. This time, the handsome young man made a condition that he could come with him only if he got half of all the loot. The condition was very strict, but Odha Jam was so attracted to this young man that he accepted his condition. The entire caravan started marching towards Sindh-Bobhnasar that very night. Since it was a full moon night, the desert was filled with beauty. Seeing this, Odha Jam said:
The night is like a desert horse, the moon is shining, the whole world is with you, so why should I sing your praises?
Meaning: When a desert, a horse, a full moon night, and good friends are all together, then one should talk about true joy.
As they approached Bambhanasara, they came across the large herd of cattle belonging to King Dhalura. They tied up the herders and surrounded the entire herd.

Everyone was expressing their own ideas regarding how to do this division. To clear the confusion of these people, Hothi took it upon himself to divide the herds. Seeing this strange trick of Hothi, everyone was amazed and started praising his power.
Odha Jam was very surprised to see the feminine softness of this new Rajput Hothi. But he did not dare to express his doubts in his heart to Hothi. Hothi returned his entire share to Odha Jam as a sign of friendship and asked for permission to leave. This deeply shocked Odha Jam. He did not want to be separated from Hothi even for a moment. As he came to his events more and more, his attraction towards him increased. He had never experienced such cunning in any other man. Seeing Hothi asking for leave, Odha Jam became stiff. Hothi immediately got ready and said as he was leaving, 'Odha Jam! You will remember me some day!' Hearing this, Odha Jam said, 'Dear friend! Saying this, Jam Odho started galloping forward, taking the legs of Hothi's horse. When he reached the Shakar Lake, Odho Jam was overjoyed to see Hothi's horse tied to the bank of the lake. He immediately climbed onto the bank of the lake, and saw a young man in the middle of the lake.
She was floating in the water, leaving her long hair loose on her head. Seeing this unique sight, Odho Jam became mesmerized. All his doubts were now gone. He immediately started gazing at that heavenly sight with full satisfaction.

Seeing Odha Jam spellbound, Hothal came out, covering her entire body with her long hair, and started dressing. On seeing Hothal's beauty, Odha Jam fainted and fell to the ground. Hothal held Odha's hand and started shaking it.

Meaning: We are the ants of the Girivar who pick gravel and grains. Even though the season has come, if we do not speak, our hearts will be torn.
When Odho Jam returned from there, as the clouds had risen to the north, he remembered his dear friends from his beloved homeland and said:
The north wind blew, the hills were covered, the sea was covered, the sun was shining.
Meaning: Seeing the black, hill-like clouds rising to the north, our hearts are like fish without water, remembering our loved ones.
Fifty-six pictures on my head, many do not fit in my mind, you are a friend of fifty years, do not forget or forget.
Meaning: Just as a painting on a stone cannot be washed away even by many rains, childhood friends are not forgotten.
Hearing this cry of Odha, Hothal spoke:

Many discussions and fantasies about the Queen of Odha started going around here and there. Since Hothal did not show her face to anyone here either, this discussion took a bigger form day by day.
One day, Odha Jam's friends and brothers devised a new trick to get information about his wife. They gave Odha a lot of alcohol, and then started talking, "There is a rumor in the village that Odha is married to a dakini and does not show her face to anyone." Hearing this, Odha, who was drunk with alcohol, spoke up angrily, "Who is the one who calls my Hothal Padmani a dakini?"
This revelation from Odha Jam revealed what they needed to know. They were astonished to learn that Hothal Padmani was in Odha's house.
When Hothal came to know about this, he felt wrong. He prepared to leave as per his condition. He handed over four letters to the maid and sent them to Odha, and at that moment he disappeared.

Meaning: O Zakhra! I am calming my mind, but it is not calmed. If you tear open my skin and look, you will find that my flesh has also ripened due to the sorrow of separation.
Odha Jam made many attempts to find Hothal, made many investigations, but he achieved nothing but failure. Finally, tired, with the aim of returning Hothal once and for all as promised, Jam Odha started planning to get his two sons married. The relatives of both the sons were made to be Sodha Rajputs. The wedding day was fixed, and joy and happiness prevailed all around.
