In a small village, there lived a sculptor. He used to make beautiful idols out of clay. One day, he took two identical piles of clay. From one pile he made a beautiful idol of God and from the other pile he made a clay pot.
The idol was installed in the village temple, where people worshipped it and offered flowers to it. On the other hand, the pot was kept in the kitchen to fill it with water.
After a few days, the pot said to the idol, "Look, we are both made of the same clay. But look at my fate! I have to fill water for people every day, while you are worshipped and respected."
The statue replies with a smile, "Yes, we are both made of the same clay, but there is a big difference. When I was being made, the sculptor hit me with a hammer several times to shape me. I endured that pain, but never made a sound. Each of his wounds made me more beautiful. When you were being made, no hammer blows were hit on you. You could not bear the wounds and were afraid of breaking. Therefore, the sculptor easily gave you the shape of a pot."
Lesson: One should not be afraid of the difficulties and challenges that come in life. Every difficulty makes you stronger and more beautiful. Only if you endure pain and struggle, will you be able to achieve great success in life. Remember, in life, only those who have endured the wounds are worshipped.

There was a farmer who was very hardworking and sincere. He was very passionate about farming. One day, he was digging a well in his field. He worked hard all day, but when he returned home tired in the evening, he felt that he had not done enough.
The next day, he started digging the well again. This time he dug deeper, but no water came into the well. This process went on for many days. The farmer worked hard every day, but he became discouraged when he could not find water. His neighbor told him, “There is no water in this place. Try another place.”
The farmer listened to his neighbor and started digging in another place. He kept digging in this place for many days, but no water came. In this way, he changed many places, but he could not find water anywhere.
One day, an old and wise man of the village passed by. He saw the farmer digging in different places.  He went to the farmer and asked, "Son, why are you digging in so many places?"
The farmer said, "Grandpa, I am looking for water, but I am not finding any water anywhere."
The old man smiled and said, "You dig 10 feet in one place, 20 feet in another, and 15 feet in the third place. If you put all this effort in one place and dig for 50 feet, you will definitely get water. Your effort is scattered, so you are not getting success."
The farmer understood the point. He started digging again in his first place and kept working hard. In a short time, he reached the depth and there he found water.
Lesson: This story teaches us that if we want to succeed in any work, we must focus our effort and attention in one direction. By changing the path repeatedly, we cannot reach the goal. Continuous effort and concentration are the keys to success.
